5.1 supported setup

Hi All,

I'm planning to buy WiiM Ultra to build 5.1 setup and concerned a bit about supported options..

In the device specifications I see a lot of available ports, Linkplay devices support.
However in the 5.1 guide only wireless WiiM devices mentioned.

Could anyone help to review my planned setup and answer questions in the brackets?

Setup will look like:
Sound input: Optical In (is 5.1 sound supported at Opt In? or only HDMI ARC?)
Front speakers: Optical Out - external amplifier (Will WiiM see these speakers to add to the 5.1 setup?)
Sub: WiiM Sub Out
Surround: Wireless (are only WiiM wireless speakers supported?)
Surround (option 2): Wired speakers connected to Line Out (is this supported?)

No Center at the moment, so 4.1 in total

Yes! Optical-in is 5.1 support.

All WiiM devices except the WiiM Mini can be used as rear speakers.

Surround (option 2): Wired speakers connected to Line Out (is this supported?)

No!

I use Dolby Digital 5.1 but it only works through HDMI input eg. from an Apple TV box and via different streaming services like Netflix and HBO Max. Subwoofer does not work via Apple TV+ content but Linkplay say they have a solution on the way.
