Hi wiim community, looking for some amp recommendations to pair with wiim pro plus or ultra. I have 6 speakers in the living room and I do not want to connect 4 speakers to a single wiim amp (as they would be significantly underpowered). So thinking about getting an external amp that has at least 6 channels. Looking for recommendations. Thanks!

Try EMOTIVA! Excellent products.

@ag84 - Just seeing this now - are you still looking? If not, what did you get?

If you haven't bought anything yet...

Depending on your price range and the quality of your speakers, I'd recommend any of the following Hypex / Purifi-based amp vendors:
- Buckeye Hypex NC252MP 4ch - Class D, 4x 150w
- Audiophonics HPA-Q250NC - Clas D, 4x 150w

Or, you could always repurpose an AVR. Keep in mind that this approach (or even some non-AVR multichannel amps) usually only have 1 trigger, so they're turning on all the channels with a single input.

For the multichannel / multizone amp like @DRC points out, I'd be sure to consider:
- Individual zone input triggers or autosensing (didn't see this on the Marantz, but I probably missed something)
- Are you paying for DSP? You won't need that with your WiiM products. Many vendors bundle DSP with their higher-end multizone amps
- Do you really need digital input? You have nice DACs in the Ultra or ProPlus, so you'll need a pretty high-end setup to beat those in your amp. May as well just go analog out.

A few that come to mind that meet the analog in / no DSP / per-zone trigger requirements:
- Sonance 8-50 - Class D, 8x 50w + bridgeable
- Audio Control Architect P800 - Class D, 8x 100w + bridgeable for more
- Rotel C8 - Class AB, 8x 70w @4ohm + bridgeable
- Plenty of others from Crown, etc.
