When can we expect a firmware update with a functioning Bluetooth connection that does not disappear after a couple of days? I like to switch off the amp in the app. This does not work when Bluetooth is not working correct.

Also it would be nice to have more control over the amp in the app. The digital filters should be switchable like in the Ultra.

During setup, but after that, no!
Not correct, please check. Connection is Bluetooth LE always. After the Wiim Home app is started and the Wi-Fi connection is established to the streamer, the app discovers the Vibelink via Bluetoth LE. The app switches the amp on and off the same way. As far as I know, the Vibelink has no Wi-Fi chips onboard.

I can‘t imagine that the Vibelink gets its software updates via BT.

Is your phone Android or iOS?

If it's Android, you may need to keep your phone's Bluetooth on at always and turn off battery optimization for the WiiM app.
