Hi, I've been toying with the idea of an external display for the Wiim Pro/Plus/Mini & AMP for a long time. You're not planning something like this? The API is already available, so some simple HW with wifi or ethernet would suffice. Possibly HW from old Android phones, where the app would run and it would be possible to display data through the API and enable player settings.

Alternatively, just an optimized app for this purpose, which I would upload to an old tablet (APK) and have it placed next to the player, or on a table.

There are other threads also discussing this. Including having the WiiM devices do a cast (Chromecast) to a TV with the now playing information.

Download the Wiim Home app to your laptop. Launch the app and connect it to your TV with an HDMI cable. Then you have the app on your entire TV screen. You can control the same Wiim device with your phone and watch it on your TV. I do that sometimes.

If you have a PC close to your TV this is a workaround. I don't.

The WiiM Home App for PC is a beta version anyway and don't look like being maintained.

You can put your laptop anywhere. As for the app, the most important thing is that it displays the cover of the song. On a Mac, it's best to use the iOS app, not the beta for MacOS.
