I followed your suggestion and installed the payed version of MinimServer. It looks nice and sees all my albums, but... the MinimServer is seen on and off. I mean, sometimes WHA sees it, sometimes it disappears. Weird...

You may have done this already, but have you got your wim. And your server both on fixed IPs? 8f not please give that a shot as what you're experiencing is quite often what happens 9f you're using them on DHCP.
Just incase you've never done this, fix the IP within your router 9r other DHCP service is not on the devices themselves

DLNA/UPnP uses SSDP for discovery so it won't make a difference.

Well, possibly if it's a firewall issue on the router, it could be a relevant thought.

DLNA/UPnP only works when both devices are on the same network so firewall rules don't apply.

There can be other router related problems though e.g. igmp proxying.

I choose the easy way: switched back to legacy mode and to Asset, and everything went back to normal

I don't think I've ever seen that whilst using the Android WiiM Home app. Are you on iOS?

I know you have AssetUPnP so are unlikely to keep MinimServer installed, but whenever I have discovery problems I always check with another control point first to help pinpoint the problem e.g. BubbleUPnP (Android) or mconnect lite (iOS).

What did you think of "advanced" mode (AssetUPnP would look exactly the same if it were supported)?

Nice interface, but it still needs fine tuning.
