Hi

I have a Wiim Amp Pro and a Chord Mojo (1) that I want to use as a headphone amplifier. I'm a bit confused after looking at both sets of instructions and the web so I'm looking for advice on the best settings on both devices. I will be using the Amp Pro USB out to connect to the Mojo.

Also, once I've sorted that I'm hoping to save these settings as a preset for when I use headphones.

Any advice appreciated.

What issues are you having?
I'm really not trying to be flippant by saying it ought to be as simple as using the right usb lead (usb a to micro usb), turning the mojo on and to usb input and choosing usb output on the wiim amp.
As for settings, I'd imagine it's any EQ you want applied and maybe which one (or both) you want to use to control the volume.

Thanks Mr Ee. No issues and yes, I am probably over thinking things. I've seen it suggested the Amp Pro volume should be set to "Fixed" or "100%" and a suggestion that optical is better than USB. So just wanted to see what the forum thought.

Well, with the wiim amp your only choice is usb :)
As for fixed (don't think the amp will allow that) / 100% volume, I always choose convenience / practicality....
With the amp I'd go for loud on the mojo and 'normal' on the amp so that when you do switch between headphones and speakers the amp volume remains roughly the same.
i.e. you probably don't want to accidentally switch to speakers with the wiim on very loud.
You can still use either / both to adjust the final volume.

Servus
And how do you proceed if the sub output of the Wiim Amp Ultra is already occupied and an additional woofer, the Sub Pro, should be added?

The main dipole & bass dipole speakers (up to 40Hz) are in place.
The Sub Pro is placed 2m away in the left corner of the room.

How is the Sub Pro then integrated?

I don't think it's possible to connect both the wired sub and the wireless sub at the same time under the current circumstances.

Thanks

That would only work under one condition:

Sub Pro handles the delay and calibration independently, using its platform without Wiim (amp) Ultra and its RoomFit.

Hmmm.
