Jellyfin DLNA not showing full music library

I can confirm that Emby's DLNA implementation seems to be much better.
I just installed a test server to try it,
The issue now is that some features I need which are free in Jellyfin are behind a subscription in Emby
Well that's always been the choice between Emby and Jellyfin. Kinda works, a bit, sometimes and free. Or works and not free.

Yeah..nah.

Jellyfin works perfectly for me, other than DLNA which is trash for some reason and I don't really need anyway.
I've never found DLNA it to be 100% reliable on any server or renderer I've ever used, so I use LMS for music and Jellyfin only for video.

I would like to find a media manager which can do both, but Emby still doesn't provide this based on my testing.
As such I've already given up on Emby as when streaming music remotely (over cellular in my car) it plays a couple of songs and then stalls, Jellyfin doesn't have this issue but I use Symfonium for remote access to my Jellyfin library anyway.

The features the free version of Emby are missing which I use in Jellyfin are hardware transcoding, live TV/IPTV, and song lyrics.
I'll certainly consider switching and paying for Emby if Jellyfin dies for any reason.

Emby works just as well with Symfonium as any other provider.

It's funny how we all prefer different things. I spin LMS (Lyrion and subsonic actually), Jellyfin, Roon, even Plex up every so often but always wonder why and go back to Emby. I've never regretted my lifetime Emby sub (or my Lyrion, opensubsonic and Jellyfin ones! haha).

Then take a look at some of the "wishlist" threads on this forum....

I suppose if we all liked the same thing there wouldn't be any choice.

I don't think it's a case of liking the product more.
For me it's a case of which broken feature bothers me less.

In my experience I've rarely found a perfect product, or one which works as advertised, and usually need to accept or work around some compromise.

My software stack of Jellyfin (or Emby) for video, LMS for music (better full home control and Squeezelite>DLNA), and Symfonium for mobile music (still needed with Emby it seems) could be simplified.

My Wiim Pro would come closest to a product which works as advertised, every time.
