Anyone having issues with the Amazon Music app and AlexaCast to their WiiM devices? I’m on the latest app versions on my iPad and android phone, but when I use AlexaCast to my Ultra (or separately to another WiiM device) if I try to skip a track from the WiiM app, I get an Alexa voice response of “what do you want to play next?” instead of the next track in the queue. The Amazon Music app play controls are unresponsive when this happens.

If I try and AlexaCast to my Echo Plus, everything works much more smoothly with no issues.

A ticket has been raised.

I've just tried it, and the same issue occurs here too.

Thanks for checking , hope they can resolve it soon. Wonder if they’ve been doing work in the background using the new Amazon Music API that they’ve talked about and that’s what’s impacting this long available feature?

Issue not present for me, skipping tracks works as it should do from my iPad and android phone. I'm on Audio Spectrum Display beta firmware.

I tried that firmware and while I no longer get the Alexa query, sometimes skipping forward will merely restart the same track. It’s not consistent though.

I hope so, but I do recall you posted a thread recently to ask about it. Have you received any response from the Team regarding the progress? 🙂
