Hi,
Firstly love the Wiim Ultra, arrived yesterday all setup and working except for my amazon music!
The problem - "Your amazon account is missing required information" no I've not contacted amazon yet, I wanted to exhaust all other options first. I can cast from amazon music app on my phone to the Wiim Ultra, but when I ask the Wiim app to connect to my account through the amazon music i have the messages pop up see screenshot. I've done everything i can find about this problem.
Cleared the caches
Uninstall both Amazon Music and the Wiim app.
Connected a lan cable thinking it's a connection problem.
Made sure the software on the phone, the Wiim and amazon are all upto date.
Does anyone have another fix for this before I contact Amazon?

First time I’ve seen that tbh. I’d contact WiiM by submitting a ticket thru the settings/feedback section in the WiiM home app so they can inspect your device logs. Looks like an authentication issue. I wouldn’t bother contacting Amazon at all as their support agents normally wash their hands when a third party is involved.

I’d also check around other forums to see if other supplier devices are having authentication issues/

This old post suggests this type of error can impact multiple different suppliers when there’s an issue with the Amazon backend authentication servers, so perhaps there’s a similar recurrence. WiiM should be able to confirm where the issue is - it may actually be resolved when Amazon fix something at their end, but again WiiM have a better chance to press them for a fix than an end user.

You could try a WiiM device reboot to see if that helps trigger something.

Hi Burnside,
Thank you for pointing me in the right direction, I wanted to avoid contacting amazon, I know the pain it'll cause me 😂.
I've raised a ticket with Wiim as you suggested and once I know something I'll tag it to this post for others to benefit.

I just rebooted, nothings changed, yes I saw this yesterday. I Uninstalled the amazon music app and reinstalled.
