Amazon Music albums not updating on Wiim Mini. They show up on Amazon but no longer updating on Wiim. I have signed out back in on both
Cleared cache and all
HELP. My playlist update to Wiim mini but not alb

There have been several threads about this in the past, but there doesn't seem to be a quick fix. (Probably an issue with Amazon api.)

Have you tried "Refresh My Music" in the Amazon music app settings screen?

It is weird.
I can sync any new Amazon playlist that I create on Amazon music and they show up on my Wiim mini but can't sync individual new added albums unless I put them in a Amazon playlist

it's not a judgement. there are two yters where i am 'patreon'. he is one. for fun. therefore i got a hint in my mail. amazon music is not a service i am interested in. but think to remember that you once pointed that he never mentions amazon music. 😉

However, the number of subscribers or listeners tells a completely different story:
Spotify: 650 Millions
Apple Music: 200 Millions
Amazon Music: 100 Millions
YouTube Music: 90 Millions
Deezer: 25 Millions
Qobuz: 15 Millions
Tidal: 10 Millions

is this the list for paid subscriptions?

I take the opportunity to comment every time he glosses over it 😜

Guess it depends where you’re coming from. “Audiophiles” (and equipment manufacturers tbh) would naturally gravitate towards Tidal and Qobuz - they probably have more street cred than anything from that nasty big leviathan Amazon. I’m not even that sure that many hifi shops are aware of Amazon Music Unlimited - it’s not supported on Roon, so that would be another reason it’s not considered or in their mind.

I used Amazon music as the family all had Amazon echo devices, and I also had an Amazon Auto device which gave me voice control in the car. I could also use an echo to feed that into my Linn amp/streamer albeit using whatever DAC was in the echo - that’s why I jumped on a WiiM Mini when it appeared.

I’m happy to be in the minority 😜

as you said. he has his clientele. does this word even exist in english? from my personal view i am more on his side 😂

We’d probably say “his audience”…

Fair enough, but it’s because it’s a WiiM USP I feel it warrants a mention no matter what the audience is. Who knows, there are probably some Tidal and Qobuz users who would like to use voice control like Amazon Music users can… 😜

I’m happy to be outed as an “indignant” user 🤣🤣

Number of subscribers etc doesn’t excuse him at least mentioning it in his videos or blogs irrespective of whether a lot of people who view his videos use it. Maybe more would if he mentioned it…
Indeed. Asking your own subscribers which services they use when you never mention one of them and using the results as proof of anything is ridiculous.

he never denies that this figures are only from and for his subscribers. so what?

and by the way. there are so many lists on the trail. nobody can really prove this numbers. most of them are tendentious for different reasons. for me the only statistics i take serious are those i faked myself.

who cares? i do not need or better want any advice. not from him. not from any of this bubble. for me he is entertainer. he entertains me. and he does it well. for me. you might notice i am an egocentric 😉
