Hi All, I’m new to this! I can only see/play a small portion of my iTune collection. System does not seem able to see te rest of the tracks? Any thoughts? Thanks in advance! WiiM Home

I had an issue similar to this a while back synching my library across Apple devices. If you have an older iTunes ID, there’s a good chance it’s different from your Apple ID.

First, check the settings on your iPhone to see if your ID being used for purchases is the same as your Apple ID (Settings > your name > Media & Purchases). It will probably show you your iTunes ID and ask for that password. If it’s different from your Apple ID, the Media & Purchases ID is the one you need to use to log into Apple Music in the WiiM Home app, and you should then see your entire library.

I never did figure out how to bring my iTunes purchases under my Apple ID, which would make things so much easier dealing with media and anything related to the App Store. Probably needs a lengthy phone call with Apple support. But I’ll bet a dollar that’s your problem.

Hi All, sorry for my long time to reply! I sorted this with apple. It was simple in the end. My library of tracks was only partially on my phone, the rest on the cloud. My WiiM only saw the tracks on my phone. Once they were all downloaded to my phone, I could play them all. Thanks to all who replied with thoughts/suggestions.

Interesting. I always considered Music and Apple Music to be one and the same, but the former is really just the interface to access the contents of the latter. Anyway … my Music app has a crap-ton of albums in my library (all in the cloud, nothing is physically on my phone), but only one album shows up under My Music in the WiiM app. Oh, look, that one album IS on my phone - I must have inadvertently downloaded it. But I find Music easy enough to navigate and just Bluetooth from my phone, so I haven’t really been wanting for an alternative.

But I guess the question for @SPeck is, are you sure your entire library is physically on your phone? You can see in the Music app when you display the album - in the upper right corner, a check mark will indicate that it’s been saved on the device, a down-pointing arrow means it’s in your library but not on your device.
Eddie Spaghetti. You hit the nail on the head! The tracks I couldn’t play were those not actually downloaded onto my phone, they were on the cloud. Thanks to you and all for helping.
