I am having garbled audio and occasional drop-outs on any AirPods from my WiiM pro and win amp pro.
It happens a few minutes into listening and gets progressively worse on both devices from optical input from TV and music streaming over ethernet from any source. I use only optical inputs from tv and ethernet over wired connections to both devices from the router with qobuzz, had been using tidal but not any longer and streaming from my apple music iTunes? Library and optical input from a samsung tv outputting pcm. It eventually becomes unlistenable. I used to be able to get through a whole movie without any problem but something has changed and it happens every time.
I’ve tried optical input from tv directly to the WiiM amp pro and from WiiM pro out to the amp and Bluetooth out to 3 different AirPod models, same result.
I don’t believe I had the issue before the recent firmware update. I’ve only had the wiims for about 3 or 4 weeks.
Any ideas what to check or tweak? Could it be the firmware update? Is there a way to roll back the firmware updates?
