The only real audiophile product on this planet is the "Honest Tom" Evans Audio Design Mastergroove SR phono MC pre-amplifier. Amen.

It's so good, every child on the Internet seems to know by now. Especially in case it should break ...

;)
I wonder if he’ll send the repaired unit to ASR for testing? 😉🤣

Honest Tom can only make 10 of those per year, because they are so sophisticated. This must leave around 9990 customers per year waiting in despair. No way anyone who holds a unit in his hands could let go of this masterpieces even just for a couple of days to have ASR test it.

I joined this forum to pick up a few tips and ask for help when I can't figure how something works.
I didn't expect entertainment and banter which amuses me no end. I chuckle at some of the comments.
From what I read most of the contributors have bought Wiim products based on their good value and the fact that Wiim are adding features that weren't there when they purchased the product and at no extra cost. Not many products are like that.

As a 69 year old who's ears are not what they were, I'm satisfied with what I bought. I have no need for very expensive cables and power supplies etc.
If I had good ears I would have bought something much more expensive to start with. I can do without the snake oil, I have a shed full of the stuff. 😉

Wiim stuff is definitely audiophile level kit. Having bought a Wiim Amp for my telly system and being impressed with the SQ I bought a 2nd. This was to be used for casual listening in my main rig to save leccy and valve time on my MasterSounD Compact 845 integrated.
The Wiim Amp with RC engaged, driving a pair of £10k Heco Direkt Dreiklangs has me seriously considering why I should continue owning an expensive (£8.4k rrp) valve integrated amp and an Innuos ZENith mk3 streamer + mega pimped Black Ice DSD DAC.

With that in mind I've just grabbed an Ultra to build a wifi connected Pre/Power and utilise a non-digital out Lector CDP + my Turntable (Garrard 401). If this all works out I will move some kit on, keep a very high level of SQ and put £6-7k back in my pocket.

The prices of Wiim offerings may be low level but the SQ definitely isn't.
