Better tuning and integration of a subwoofer using an additional Pro/Pro Plus

I am using an additional stand-alone Pro Plus device to feed a satellite subwoofer within the same room as my mains (mains via one Pro Plus device, subwoofer via another). I play the them together with the two Pro Plus devices as a group. This is a very convenient and quite effective solution to adding a subwoofer wirelessly to an existing room. The opportunities for improvement include:

1. A subwoofer-specific room correction option -- the canned RC signal and the inherent response curve of a subwoofer don't easily play well together.
2. A way to measure and adjust timing between the the subwoofer and the mains (between the two different Pro Pluses), and lock them together.
3. More robust grouping of the two devices, where the volumes stay reliably locked to each other under normal conditions (maybe this is imminent via upgraded "persistent groups."

Thanks for your time.

If so, I would expect timing correction / integration as well.

I am doing the same thing, did you know that the team is already looking into it? 😄

That's an idea that I pursued from some time already also.
At this point I use the coax out of a Pro to my dac.
I have a SVS stored as in my current room the place for it should be 5m away from the main rack, and I don't want to extend 5m of coax through the room.
By your experience / knowledge an additional pro (or a mini, to be hide under the sub:) will suffice for good bass quality, or it worth to spent some more in a pro plus for a better dac?

Thanks!

There is a wide diversity of opinions on whether or not people can hear the difference between modern reasonable quality DACs. I personally have only heard my Pro+s so I can't directly weigh in on the question. But I would wager that you would not be able to perceive a difference between the Pro and Pro+ when using either of them to feed a subwoofer.

I agree, for the bass alone this should suffice!

I was already pointing the mini rather to this use on double box....but the peq /rc arrives on this one, see even more in l/r... even more...
or more easy for cable..two mini... l or r... the mini becoming modules attached to each sub...
a dedicated function to consider..one day when everything else is ok..!
