Bluetooth stutter

I ordered a WiiM mini specifically because of multi-room and bluetooth output. Use case: I want to be able to stream to my bedroom, bathroom, and dressing room simultaneously, with the bathroom using a bluetooth speaker. Unfortunately, bluetooth stutters and is completely unusable.

It is clearly a hardware defect or software bug. Sometimes rebooting the mini and repairing the speaker appears to help for a very brief period of time. Otherwise, there is no other correlation I've been able to draw.

It is not an "interference" issue. Streaming to the speaker works fine for other transmitters (e.g. iPhone) even while in other rooms.

Based on searching the forums, it appears this is a long-time known issue that WiiM has refused to remedy. But does anyone have any temporary fixes or workarounds? I've already tried the "make the Mini the lead device" recommendation, but it changed nothing.

Did you find a workaround?

I bought a dedicated transmitter as suggested. Doing that, and making the mini the lead, has minimized issues (other than syncing). So, I paid more to get the advertised functionality.

To be clear: this isn't a range issue. I suspect the Mini just doesn't have the processing power to do everything it needs to do when streaming with bluetooth.

FYI: this is what I bought https://amzn.to/3Y9fNjL

Thanks ZEBBERS --- My issue = RESOLVED: Hello fellow WiiM enthusiasts. I was very sad that both my WiiM Minis (I have 2) and WiiM Pro Plus+ don't support my outstanding sounding UE WONDERBOOM 3 & 4 Bluetooth Speakers. The work for a period of time, like 6 to 12 minutes and then turn stuttery, garbled sound, and otherwise unlistenable. Stragely I have a less-fidelic but functional iHome that doesn't suffer this for some reason, but only good for talk/podcasts. To resolve I followed the advice to attach a BT Transmitter to the AUX outputs and B-I-N-G-O !!! Perfect fidelity!
I purchased the terrific <<Aluratek ABC01F Universal Bluetooth Audio Receiver/Transmitter>> from B&H Photo Video in NYC (I bought 3) and they work perfectly. I wasn't looking for extreme range, but they have a 100ft Transmit option as well. These are very small, come with cables, aure USB-rechargable, work for 20 hours on a charge and FIXED MY PROBLEM. Recommended! I'm a happy camper now, and not too mad that I had to pay another $30+ to use my WiiM products. Oh, yes, I opened up Help Desk Tickets with WiiM but no solutions there. I bought the better one too but I'm going to return it unopened, as these little ones do the trick just fine.
