Bose 700 Soundbar

Hi all, tried connecting LG TV to Wiim ultra Arc HDMI out to Ultra them optical out to optical in on Bose, couldn't get that to work, only worked over Bluetooth then sound was out of sync, any ideas?

Can you take the optical out from the TV to the Ultra to see if it's an ARC issue with the tv which unfortunately isn't uncommon
