Can wiim ultra do high pass filter?

Can the Wiim ultra do high pass filter for my subs if I connect sub to it instead of the Yamaha integrated amp? I would like to relief my pass speakers off below 80hz and let the sub do all the work. Is this setup feasible?

Yes, that’s what the crossover freq setting in the WiiM app does

The trouble is that you'll have to set the Yamaha to a fixed volume, though, and control the volume strictly through the WiiM Ultra, only. If you don't use the WiiM's volume control it has no way of knowing when to turn the sub level down and by how much.

Depending on the volume setting you use with the Yamaha the sub level in the WiiM Home App (and the level of the sub itself) needs to be adjusted to match the main speakers.

Hi was planning to use one of line/cd output of the yamaha which i researched only has fixed level output. Will this work? Or will i have to readjust the subwoofer volume level to match the main speaker level every time i change the main’s volume in this system.

I don't see how you could use a fixed level line output of the AS801 if you want to connect it to passive speakers. I thought you were to use it as a power amplifier.

Sorry if I wasn’t clear. I meant to connect the Wiim Ultra to the Yamaha through the stereo RCA (line/cd). Not really sure if this could work
