Can't setup new WiiM Pro

I follow the instructions and the Android phone app is stuck on this screen.

The LED on the front of the WiiM Pro is bluish white and not exactly blinking but fading from bright to less bright and back.

I have tried restarting all involved devices a few times.

Should I return it to Amazon and give a bad review?

it could help if you unplug the ethernet cable and try by wifi. For setup process activate location.

There is no ethernet cable collected.

Yes, location service on the Android phone is turned on.

The WiiM Pro device is recognized and I tap the Set Up button for it in the popup in the WiiM Home app. Then the app displays the spinner. Then nothing else, it is stuck with the spinner rotating.

Router is compatible / router settings allow the addition of new devices?
Do you happen to have a network cable at hand for the setup process?

There's a pdf on led status, search for 'wiim pro led behaviour', should be first hit.
What you described looks most like 'connecting to wifi', albeit it says green, not blue.
Not sure if this will help though!
