Connecting Google 4K streamer to Wiim pro plus

Hello,
Total newbie question here. I have a BenQ beamer and Wiim Pro Plus. Have just bought a Google 4K streamer hoping I can use that to create a home theatre set-up, but can't get sound to play out of the stereo attached to the Wiim. Sound plays out of the (very small) speaker on the BenQ. The Wiim is showing in Google Home but it just says "not playing". What do I need to do?

I know it's been a while since you posted, but has your problem been resolved?

How are you connecting the WiiM to your projector and Google streamer?

In order for the sound from the projector to play on the WiiM, the audio output of the projector must be connected to the input of the WiiM.

Also, in the audio settings of the projector, I believe you need to select the external speaker output.

My guess is that you have two basic options to get this working:
1. Optical out from the projector into the WiiM
2. Bluetooth out from the Google streamer to the WiiM

You could possibly also use analog line input to the WiiM if the projector doesn't have digital audio out...
