Looking at the rear of the WIIM Ultra outputs and the Buckeye Amp Inputs which are two channels of RCA inputs. What or how would I connect the Ultra to my new amp. The Buckeye only has RCA analog inputs so I am limited to that sort of connection.
Neutrik Rean Connectors. Low capacitance, Oxygen Free silver plated Copper for better sound reproduction over just copper cable, low capacitance. Commonly used for unbalanced input and output audio devices.
Buckeye Amps tell you exactly that in their FAQ page (because they do not have RCA inputs, but XLR inputs only):
The cables mentioned above should be ok. Since you appear to be US based you might prefer buying from a local seller. One such outlet would be Blue Jeans Cables, offering extremely high quality products at still reasonable prices. You are looking for an RCA M to XLR M cable, 2 channels:
This is the best advice for when adding a streamer or audio player that is going to be used as a preamp. I can only imagine how many people have fried their speakers due to the volume not being set to variable. The shock of playing some music at the highest volume possible has to be huge for the listener and their gear.

Talking of which Wiim need to sort the mic calibration levels out, I just had the EQ sweep pretty loud. The raindrop sound wasn't loud but the sweep was.
EIther needs to adjust gain prior to sweep or inform user to adjust level to match the expected pink noise ie 75db pink noise first adjust master level/auto level then sweep

For me, the volume of the raindrop sound changes with the volume control setting, just like the actual sweep does.
I agree that the absolute loudness of the sweep is at least subjectively higher than the raindrops. Most people won't fall for too high volumes anyway, that's mostly us enthusiasts.
