Controlling volume on Wiim amp

I don't yet own the Wiim amp but I'm considering it.

Is there any way to control the volume using an infra red learning remote? It's just that I often watch TV (on silent) while listening to my hifi and don't want to have to balance a collection or remotes on my knee. I only listen to albums from beginning to end, so it's just the volume I need ready access to as I do turn it up and down and mute it occasionally.

I currently use a Firestick remote to control my TV with a "sideclick" learning infrared remote which clips to it and works very nicely. In an ideal world I'd like to be able to use that for volume control of the Wiim.

No, WiiM devices are controlled by a Bluetooth remote, not IR, so its signals can’t be learned as you describe.

Thanks for the reply. So the only way to control volume is either on your mobile or with the supplied remote?

Or you can walk over to the amp and turn the volume control
