Controlling Wiim Pro using Amazon Firestick remote controller?

Hello, perhaps an odd question but I'm considering connecting my Wiim Pro directly to a power amp so I will need to control volume via the Wiim Pro itself. I know that I can do this through the app - perfect for music via Tidal Connect - but when watching TV (via SPDIF) it would be convenient to control volume through my Firestick remote (I watch 99% of my TV through Firestick 4K).

Can a Firestick remote control Wiim Pro volume? Is anyone out there using it this way, rather than controlling pre-amp / integrated amp volume from Firestick?

No, a fire tv remote isn’t compatible, but WiiM do a remote of their own that will control its volume

Thanks Brantome, that's a shame but it's what I expected. I will just use the app instead.
