Deezer Deezer won't play from Wiim home app

history repeats itself when company brings out too many new products which in short overwhelmed software departments...too many products, too many bugs and issues, and here we are...

Apologies for the inconvenience. This issue is related to an update to Deezer's API. We have contacted our API provider and are waiting for Deezer to resolve the problem.
In the meantime, you can use the Google Cast connection from the Deezer app to play content.

Wiim says it's deezers fault, I guess all devices that use Deezer API are affected, but nothing I could find in web anyone reporting this problem.
Imagine you just bought wiim device, you want to stream Deezer but it's not working?
They should remove Deezer from Stream Everything You Love on webpage, simply because you can not stream Deezer, almost 3 weeks now.

this is what happened to Arylic streamer users. The 4stream app stopped working with Deezer for some API reasons, and since 3 years they can't use Deezer with 4stream app anymore.

I'm still optimistic but this Arylic experience was not a good one. I just hope WiiM will resolve this API issue, and I hope this really is an API issue. I've heard Arylic lost its API access because of money issues (a matter of right), but no one confirmed this.

Has anyone contacted Deezer about this? If WiiM say it's an issue with the Deezer API, then users contacting Deezer directly might help move things along.

In the meantime, surely using Chromecast gets you full access to Deezer? I'm in the camp that doesn't believe that the WiiM app has to be the one and only universal streaming service app..

to be honest, I've received the same advice than @nik this morning (WiiM support answered my ticket with the same message), I'm using Deezer app through Google Chromecast right and everything is alright. I just need to be near the WiiM Pro streamer to keep it connected, not a problem here.

Sounds more like bluetooth than chromecast.
Shouldn't need to keep close for chromecast.

You're right, my mistake. Chromecast does the job anyway. It'll be a good workaround while a solution is found.
