Deezer Deezer won't play from Wiim home app

Wow, this whining really works!!
No, @nik, it was honestly growing tedious and annoying. It went on long after the Issue had been first tentatively then authoritatively identified, and then even acknowledged by both Products confirmed the Issue was being actively worked on. Most of us had to wade through the posts that added no new information or resolution just to clear our notification queues. Some of us were starting to wonder "if", or even cheer for "when" the most vocal complainers would make good on their threats to abandon their WiiM Products (as well as spreading their wings to try alternative Streaming Services until Deezer got it together...)
Let's hope that everyone can now go back to enjoying their Deezer and other Streams, and looking forward to the New Features and Products that WiiM has in store for us!

Now next ticket could be "we want deezer connect back". How about guys?😆
No point in sending that to WiiM as Deezer Connect (as they optimistically called it) only controlled another instance of the Deezer app running on another platform. Given that WiiM's implementation of Deezer is thru its API, Deezer Connect wasn't relevant to WiiM as it never ran (nor could run) the Deezer app.

Same issue here—Deezer works via Chromecast, but not directly in the WiiM Home app on WiiM Pro. You’re not alone. I’ve also seen intermittent direct-play failures recently.

Since the issue should be fixed by now (see e.g. this post right in this thread) it's probably helpful if you file a ticket with Deezer and with WiiM. Regarding WiiM you can do that very easily from within the WiiM Home App by tapping "More..." on the bottom right and then "Feedback and Tickets.

Ideally, reboot your WiiM device, your smartphone or tablet running the WiiM Home App and your router, then check if the problem persists. If so, your feedback could be most valuable.

Also make sure you're on the latest firmware and app versions for all the devices mentioned above. Yes, it's trivial, but just in case ...

This looks to be working again now as expected which is great news, have been able to view deezer albums again and no play back issues this morning, great news !
 
After contact with Deezer a few days ago , today no problems. Maybe also the update this morning or Deezer did something. First day in about 2 months without problems to play music .
Just one day but its a start.

On my side, problem with Deezer is not fixed.
I can’t go to my playlist, the flow or anything… when i clic on Deezer, i stay on the maining list of services….

Do you know why ?
 
I uninstalled the app and cleared the cache.
Switched off my phone, installed the new firware…. Nothing works

Strange 🤔. My second day without problems.
I looked in my topic at Deezer but they didn't react if they found a solution.
Maybe they have to fix it by account .
Otherwise look at the topic at Deezer and put your problem there . Maybe they respond . I got a fast respons. But no solution but it works for now.

There's no new firmware associated with the Deezer fix, it appears it was a server side fix at their end.

When you talk about "the app" are you referring to the WiiM home app? After re-installing, did you log back into Deezer in the WiiM app?

Yes, I uninstalled the Wiim home ap… I tried to enter into deezer service but it doesn’t work. It stay log on but i can’t enter in the service!
I installed the new firmware on my Wiim ultra yesterday …
My wife can use it but not me…. Crazy no ?
 
Logging in issues can be down to your phone's default browser - see this WiiM ai response:

"If you're having trouble logging into music services (such as Qobuz, TIDAL, TuneIn, or Plex) in the WiiM Home app on Android, please make sure **Google Chrome is set as your default browser**.On some Android devices, if another browser is set as default, the login page may not redirect back to the WiiM Home app properly. Setting Chrome as the default browser usually resolves this issue .After changing the default browser to Chrome, please try logging in again."

MIne works without issues for 2 days. Maybe try this:
- delete cache and data for both apps and see if you are using latest versions
- log in Deezer from browser
- reboot WiiM from app

Are you using same Deezer login to your app and wifes instance?

We have both a Deezer account and 2 Wiim (pro plus and ultra). She can manage my account on the wiin Ap for the 2 machines but not me.

We have both iphones, same version of iOS, Wiim Ap…..
