Hi! Could someone summarize the settings required for running the Ultra in passthrough mode, as a pure digital transport?

I mainly listen to lossless streaming services and use an external DAC connected via coax. Using the Wiim Ultra as a pure transport seems complicated or at least not self-explanatory. It’s prone for mistakes/misunderstandings. For example, hitting the EQ by mistake obviously activates the internal DAC as audio gets altered. Same with volume.

I just posted a feature request for getting ”Passthrough” as a preset setting.

I invite you to find literature on common observations of ISP saturation in many recordings other than "classical" music... You may find yourself, unless DACs like RME require a -2.5dB or tolerate overloads, preferring a comfortable use of the Wiim digital level at around -2.5/-3dB in 32-bit... rather than by posture... a "bitperfect"

There was discussion of a bit-perfect toggle at one point. Perhaps raise a ticket to WiiM via the more/feedback section in the app and ask that they implement that.
