ditch the physical volume knob

For the next ultra, ditch the volume knob (it isn't very good to begin with) and go to a full width screen. give the option to have an on-screen knob for those that use these for desktop setups.

If it was a good knob it might be worth keeping. I always thought the knob on top of the uniti was pretty cool.

I could well live with a WiiM streamer without a DAC and a full width display, must not even be touch and which could be switched off if so desired and a real standby.
