DJ controller->Wiim Mini->Wiim Amp Pro

Hello,

I have a Wiim Amp Pro in my main listening room and a DJ controller in another room with a good old Sony amp.

If I buy a Wiim mini and connect it to the DJ controller output and use multiroom to stream to the Wiim Amp Pro will there be any noticeable lag between that and the sound being played through the Sony amp (using booth out on the controller).

Local network is very good with mesh devices in both rooms.

If there is latency would other Wiim products reduce it?

Many thanks, I have been blown away by the sound quality out of the Wiim Amp Pro.

WiiM streamers generally experience around 50ms of latency. This thread might be helpful.

Amp ultra latency been measured by someone on this forum?

I guess someone posted this somewhere.

I connect the Pro to the sub out of the Amp Ultra and compensate for a 53ms sub delay with Subwoofer Sync. This indicates there is generally a delay of around 50ms.

Yes, unusable for realtime dj use.
