Does it store and read from the cache before playback?

Regarding the caching issue of the WIIM, may I ask how large the cache of the Pro Plus is? Does it store and read from the cache before playback? If the cache size increases and reduces some read-write processes, will the sound quality improve? Additionally, music from a local NAS should theoretically have the lowest latency, so why does it not sound as good as streaming (under the premise of using the same audio source file)?
