I have a problem with my setup. Many TV channels only output sound via Dolby Digital via Bitstream. There is no sound coming from the speakers on my WIIM AMP. When deciding to buy WIIM AMP or WIIM AMP Pro, I compared all the technical data from the official sources. It was not obvious that there was a difference between these two devices when it came to Dolby Digital.
It would be great if the WIIM AMP could also output with Dolby Digital or Dolby 2.1 in the future.
To add: Yes, you can switch the sound output to PCM. Unfortunately, my SAT receiver in PCM produces a sound signal that is far too quiet. This is a fault with the SAT receiver, it is 8 years old and the manufacturer no longer provides updates.
