Dear WiiM Team,

I appreciate the innovation and quality you’ve brought with the WiiM Ultra. To further enhance the ecosystem, I have a few suggestions:

  1. Dedicated Power Amplifier: Introducing a power amplifier without a volume control would complement the Ultra for users who prefer to manage volume through their preamp or streamer.
  2. CD Transport: A matching CD transport designed to integrate seamlessly with the Ultra would be a valuable addition for those of us who still enjoy physical media.

These additions would provide users with more flexibility in building their audio systems.

Thank you for considering these suggestions.

Hi Welcome.

May I move this post to the request thread? Since this is not directly related to Vibelink amp and is a suggestion, I think the request thread is the appropriate place.

If you agree, we will move it to this thread.

"What products you'd like to see WiiM produce?"

Thank you.

Re 1, I often describe the vibelink amp as set it and forget it - set its max listening volume and then use the Ultra’s volume control. No need to engineer another device without a volume control.

WiiM could develop a CD player that includes a large SSD or HDD to rip and store CDs locally. It would become a self-contained music library — no need for external servers or subscriptions. Pair that with an app that syncs to a big screen via Apple TV, showing full VU meters, album art, and playback controls in real-time — now that would be next-level. As far as I know, no one is doing this yet in a clean, consumer-friendly way. WiiM could be the first to offer it, and that would seriously set them apart.

Brennan and Innuos are longstanding names that immediately spring to mind when talking about a CD player/ripper so it’s hardly a new thing, and internet access is still needed for disc metadata. There already is a WiiM apple TV app that shows a now playing screen with controls, but I doubt if that would (or should) show VU meters as that would need real time analysis of the audio stream that the WiiM device is playing thereby doubling network traffic.
