A Rookie question here: I'm having trouble accessing a recently downloaded album of FLAC-HD files stored on my PC to play through Wiim Pro Plus, via the Wiim App on my iPhone. These FLAC-HD files are in a folder within my 'Music' folder on my PC (windows 10), and I have enabled sharing for that entire 'Music' folder. I've also enabled sharing just for that specific folder as a troubleshoot check.
I have done a "scan your music server" from the Wiim app, and that has found what appears to be an old iTunes library of mine on my PC. The folder I'm after has not come up as visible with that "scan". I have also tried the "Add Shared Folder" using the network path (\\Server Name\Shared Folder) etc in the Wiim app but come up with a "connection failed" message.
Connection from PC to Router to Wiim PP is all ethernet cabled.
I have tried searching the forum for answers over the past 2 hours but cannot find the solution to this seemingly simple task.

Any help in a simple step-by-step manner would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Tons of music servers available. I use Plex(amp) which is also a very easy installation experience. WiiM has some support for Plex now (although can be improved).

It sounds like WiiM has discovered the built-in Windows media sharing, configured through Windows Media Player -> Organise -> Manage Libraries -> Music.
There are a number of issues with WMS so I wouldn't recommend it as a solution, but it'll do to get you started.

WiiM can access SMB shares but the results really aren't worth it (basic folder and filename browsing).

I would recommend installing mediamonkey on your computer adding music to that, and your wiim can connect to mediamonkey, it'll come up with a couple of prompts.
Thanks for the recommendation! I'll install that and see how it goes.
**Update** I have access to the FLAC files, and am playing them now! Thank you for your assistance :)
