Yes, that will work perfectly. If in case you decide you want to avoid having to occasionally disconnect to charge, this one include power input. It has enough to keep even my MacBook Air M1 charged:Awesome. Was hoping so.
Right now I use AirPlay to my ultra. Which honestly sounds great. Ordered this. We’ll see if it’s worth it
As he has already ordered the Cubilux device, he could use one of these to allow simultaneous charging.Yes, that will work perfectly. This is an excellent recommendation! I agree. As he has already ordered the Cubilux device, he could use one of these to allow simultaneous charging.
A FiiO SR11 would do this handily, and it is locked to AirPlay (1), not AirPlay 2, so it is lossless. You use AirPlay to your Ultra? How? Via an Airplay device like Airport Express or similar?
I have some of these, and they work well. This is an excellent recommendation! I agree.

Yes, I have similar splitters—it never occurred to me to just insert one of these in the middle.I have some of these, and they work well.
Yes I know. Some of us launched that pipeline concept long ago. My question was directed to the OP as he says he is using AirPlay with Ultra - I was wondering what method he was using. This is an excellent recommendation! I agree.

I ended up returning the SR11 to Amazon and just playing Apple Music from my Apple TV 4K to the Wiim Ultra using ARC. It's fine sounding and more convenient.Ya know, a few days ago I had this whole setup in my Amazon cart - Cubilux with charging adapter, extra optical cable, new power strip with USB plugs. If it were to wind right, I also have an optical switcher in my shopping list so I don’t have to swap cables between the tv and music source. I was about to pull the trigger, and then got to thinking what a logistical pain in the ass it would be compared to bluetoothing from my phone from the solitude of my couch - I’d lose access to either my phone or iPad, because one would have to be physically near the amp to be wired to it. And for what? I’m very happy with what I’m getting now, would there really be a noticeable improvement in sound? So I said F it and emptied my cart without buying anything. Now I’m curious to hear if the exercise is worth it.
Hmmmm … I didn’t think of that. I have Apple TV 4K and an optical line from tv into the amp. I never considered doing a side-by-side comparo. I think it’s time.I ended up returning the SR11 to Amazon and just playing Apple Music from my Apple TV 4K to the Wiim Ultra using ARC. It's fine sounding and more convenient.
