I have several LMS clients and I had hoped to be able to "bridge" the Google Cast into Lyrion Media Server. This way I would be able to sync it with the other clients on my home.

Is this possible or able to be done? I don't require playback control or even meta information. I just wanted to be able to stream the Google Cast input into LMS (what you see, what you hear. Lol)

My use case is I have several apps (audiobooks, podcasts, white noise, etc...) that can use Google Cast but I have no way to sync the feed to my whole home. I have tried Bluetooth and found it extremely cumbersome and sporadic.

Thank you for any help or work that can be done.

I was thinking this would relate directly to the capabilities of the wiim rather than LMS.
Fair enough, but from how you describe it it sounds like you want to “inject” audio into LMS and that’s more likely to be cracked on the Lyrion forums.

One major LMS user here has used their WiiM device physically connected to their LMS server and used that feature to send the audio to other LMS clients. I believe it uses the “streamer for audio input” feature for their piCorePlayer setup - what do you run LMS on?
