Has anyone decided to go all Audio Pro speakers and if so how is it working?

I tried to use other streaming methods (Air Play, DLNA) in order to "mix" a few different speaker brands but it just was not working out they way I wanted or expected so I've gotten rid of them. I'm also trying to simplify my multiroom audio in my home so others can at least try to use it...

In an attempt to "simplify things" I've decided to go all Audio Pro with the exception of a WiIM Ultra with set of powered speakers
and a WiIm Pro plus connected to a Riva Stadium speaker. It's been my understanding since the beginning of my WiiM use that all Audio Pro speakers will work together regardless of edition (WiiM/Non WiiM).

My Audio Pro speakers consist of one C10 MKII (WiiM edition), two A10 MKII''s (WiiM edition), one C5A, and two C3's all in different rooms throughout my house.

Audio Pro is a weird brand because honestly the speakers are nice, seem well made and sound pretty good but they seem to completely lack support and their own app is a bit weak. Most negative reviews i've read harp on poor support & the app. You would think the negative reaction to the Sonos fiasco would motivate some other multiroom speaker brands but apparently not as they all seem to have app complaints...

As of now there seems to be an issue with the Audio Pro & Audio Pro (WiiM Edition) speakers linking together due to "The Audio Pro device using a lower version of the multiroom" per WiiM support.

They are somewhat linking/grouping together but it takes multiple tries and has to be done in a certain order from what I can gather in the few attempts i've had to troubleshoot it (will attempt more this weekend).

I can't be the only one using Audio Pro so Im looking for others experiences with this brand as their goto multiroom speakers.

I use a WiiM Amp with five Audio Pro speakers, all older models (C3, C5, C10, A10). They sound great, look good, and have been very reliable. Grouping generally works fine, but occasionally it takes a few tries, especially when an Audio Pro speaker is the master and the WiiM is part of the group. I’m guessing that’s due to the older chips in the Audio Pro units.

What’s really baffling, though, is how little attention Audio Pro seems to give to their software. The app feels like it was thrown together by some random freelancer on Fiverr with zero UI experience. Even more surprising is that it hasn’t seen any real updates over the years, despite them continuing to release new speaker models.

Thankfully, I’ve integrated all the speakers into my smart home setup using Home Assistant and various automations, so I never have to touch the app. If that weren’t possible, I’d definitely be using different speakers. I even tried upgrading to the newer Mk2 versions, but ended up returning them. They were locked down which made smart integration impossible and also had fewer input options.

I have 2 A10's and a C10, all WiiM edition. I like them a lot, but for now I'm taking the path of least resistance and sticking with only WiiM edition. I would much rather have gotten a C20 instead of the C10 if it came in a WiiM edition. I'm hoping to see more support (firmware upgrades) and other speakers added, but zero complaints so far.

I tried to mix the a10 mkII with a view wiim minis, but it is not possible that they show up in the grouping options in the wiim app. Grouping manually is not a problem but I made different permanet groups for different scenarios. And when I want to ad the pro audio a10 to a new group or an existing one the eaven don't show up. So I will send them back an hope this feature will be added in an firmware or app update or wiim app edition of the speakers will be available in Germany soon.

Just as an FYI, Audio Pro has NOT responded to a single support request i've made since I got into the brand back in December... I have purchased a few speakers directly from the Audio Pro US website and it went smooth but not much communication. And they ship from a company called "United Radio" out of Utah.

All negative reviews I can find mention the same thing, poor support and a terrible app... I find it kind of amusing because I hated Sonos for the same thing, bad customer service and then a terrible app...And here I am, lol!

Regardless, all my speakers have been working pretty good but the WiiM products HAVE to go first when grouping/playing together or it falls apart quickly....

That's pretty strange: I'm using Audiopro products since ages and their support is wonderful. I had to send back a couple of devices, then they forgot of one of them and, once they realized, they send me back another complimentary device as a gift (it was probably second hand but who cares).
Also, everything was shipped and delivered at their own expenses (a single DHL shipping from Italy - where I live - to the Nordics is roughly 100 € ) so really nothing to complain about their service.

Back to the question I suppose the only added feature from the rebranded A10 is linked to home theater, because (I've got a couple of "standard A10") they worked as a charm driven by a wiim ultra

The WiiM Edition Audio Pro speakers have a lot more functionality than the original versions, comparable to what a WiiM Pro or later can offer. Using the WiiM Home app, compare what features you can see for your Ultra compared to the A10, such as room correction, peq, squeezelite, Qobuz Connect support etc - too many to mention really.

Although I can agree with you, it's a non-sense (for me at least) to waste another 600€ in a couple of rebranded A10. I'll go for a Wiim pro and a dedicated setup then
