Nordost has always been one of the most expensive brands selling total non-sense products and claiming to be working with NASA....But that's for just one meter. The 6 m version will set you back 11465 GBP.
And don't forget that the application of the "DeoxIT Gold G-Series" contact enhancer adds anothe 3 GBP!That's clearly fraud, isn't it?
Looks like the elaborate burn-in process is for free, surprisingly. Take two if these nice cables and we're almost there.
I'd just not buy them from futureshop but AliExpress.

Good suggestion. Any of the JBL Pro line of speakers, they’re all designed very well.
You're right.These do not have APTX HD nor USB, but why would you need it if you have the Ultra?

(This is the regret, at least, since the "plus"*...the absence of balanced output, especially for this type of use with small active speakers etc in preamp.. at least in jack format)
(*The "pro" of course had nothing "professionnel " and was only an improvement of a mini...but everyone hoped for it, had expressed interest , for balanced output in the future "plus" etc and of course the "ultra")

Thank you all for your recommendations and clarifications. I have learned a lot, or at least I think I have. What I have understood is that if I am looking for active desktop speakers to use in a small space only with the Wimm Ultra and I want to take full advantage of the Ultra`s sound potential, I have the following options:
a. Active speakers: Acoustic Energy AE1, Genelec 6040R, Vanatoo Transparent One Encore Plus, Audioengine HD3. Connected via RCA to bypass the speakers' DAC
b. Studio monitors: Edifier R1700BT, JBL305, iLoud Micro. Obviously via cable.
Since they will be fixed on the table, I have no problem connecting with RCA cable.
Before making the query I had preselected the Audioengine HD3 but I was not sure that by connecting via RCA I could take full advantage of the Ultra.
In Argentina the only way to buy speakers is via Amazon because if I want to do it through distributors the cost can be three times higher. And I can't get all of them from Amazon (which is the best price).
The ones I can get from Amazon (free os shipping cost) are:
a. active speakers: Audioengine HD3 (380 USD)
b. studio monitors: iLoud Micro (350 USD)
I have to decide between these two.
Would you like to finally recommend one or the other (?

I think both would be good, so pick the one that you like the most aesthetically?
Also both seem to have USB connections as well but only the Audioengine has Bluetooth.

No, iLoad Micro has it too.
They seem fine as well, I have no experience with them though.
