Hooking up SMSL reclocker and SMSL SU-1 DAC. What output to use from reclock to SU-1?

I'm using the SMSL PO100 reclocker and the SMSL SU-1 in tandem. Do I use the USB to PO100, then ... what do i use between the PO100 and the SU-1? AND THEN. do I need to have a return into the WiiM? I've never done this before.

For those who watched the cheapaudioman video and believe this is of benefit over the Ultra’s DAC, I understand it’s usb out from the Ultra into usb in on the PO100 then whatever digital out out that has into the SU-1

Thanks. I don't know If I'll hear a difference. I'm going to get the DAC first. The sound from the Wiim is a bit mid heavy, even with the EQ set. I'm going Amazon, so if I notice ZERO difference, I'll return it.

What does even with the EQ set mean? Changing the EQ certainly changes the frequency balance. It probably isn't the Ultra that is mid heavy.

The PO100 is not a reclocker, precisely speaking. Of course it's a non important semantic difference only.
