How can I use AKM 4493SEQ with Pro Plus

Strictly speaking, yes. The AKM in the Pro Plus is a DAC I.e. a Digital To Analogue Convertor. If you are using a digital output such as optical, then no conversion to analogue takes place so the DAC is bypassed. However, if you are using the RCA line out connections, they are analogue so the stream must have undergone digital to analog conversion and therefore have used the AKM DAC.

The coaxial output is digital also, so it won't use the AKM 4493SEQ as well. Just to make that clear.

The real question should be what device you are connecting your WiiM Pro Plus to. Do you like the external DAC better or the one in the Pro Plus? Only you can decide.
