How do I enable DLNA UPnP Renderer for Linux

I need to turn on DLNA / UpnP Renderer so that a Linux machine can be able to discover my Wiim Pro Plus. I´ve looked in Wiim Home for MacOS beta and the latest iOS app to no avail. Can someone help me find the setting?

I use a Raspberry Pi, which uses Linux, as my personal music and video library. For audio, I've installed LMS (Lyrion Music Server). This works perfectly with the WiiM players, all which except the Mini have Squeezelite player capability. (My music is stored on a separate NAS that has Minimserver installed which supports DLNA/UpnP but I much prefer LMS for finding local music and building/managing play queues.)

there's no such option, DLNA is enabled by default on the WiiM Pro Plus.
the easiest way to stream directly from a Linux machine (you didn't mention what distribution are you using) is to use VLC and enable Chromecast on the Pro Plus. after that, the Pro Plus would be discoverable under Playback --> Renderer

Are you trying to play music from your wiim to a Linux computer? Or play music from a Linux computer to your wiim?

Does your Linux computer have a desktop environment or is it running without one (a server install or similar)?

Is your PC and Pro Plus on the same broadcast domain?
What software are you using to connect? I know Upplay works well on Linux.

I am actually trying to play Netflix and other streaming sources audio, through to Wiim that is hooked into my amplifier that is connected to my ceiling speakers in the living room so that I can bypass the iMac (turned Linux) built-in speakers. This is a unit, the iMac I setup for my wife to watch video on while she prepare the meals in the kitchen (not far from the living room). I got tired of seeing her watch a movie on her cellphone and figured I could put this older iMac to good use.
