Hi,

I am trying to toggle my Amp Pro outputs via the HTTP API. I am able to set output to Speakers using this command:

In fact, any "hardware" value I choose seems to set it to Speakers. What I can't figure out is how to change it to Bluetooth. That would allow me to toggle between my speakers and headphones using a programmable remote.

The API documentation doesn't make sense to me either. It provides the command to set the "hardware" values, but does not supply variants of the command to set either the "software" (Bluetooth) or "source" (Audiocast) values.

Please tell me there is a way to set "source=1" using the API !?!

On a different note, I find it odd there is no API commands for "volume +1" and "volume -1". There's only an ability to set the volume to a value between 0 and 100. Not terribly useful in my opinion.

Thanks for your help!

Hi,

I am not familiar with it so I can't answer your question, but is it really necessary?

When I take my Bluetooth earbuds out of the charging case, the WiiM Ultra activates and the output switches to Bluetooth and automatically connects. And when I store the buds in the case, Bluetooth is disconnected and the Ultra returns to its original output. No remote is required.

Hey Wiimer,

I am new to WiiM, so was not aware of that at all. I just assumed you needed to manually toggle to outputs. I just tested it with my headphones and it works as you describe. That is way easier. Thanks!
