I would like Wiim pro plus to become JPLAY Certified since I heavily use JPLAY app. Eversolo became recently …

It would require that the app running on your PC or phone changes the data streamed from the provider directly to the player (WiiM). That's not possible. Why you think it is nonsense ? Any arguments ?
1) Even if that was possible it would not change the sound in any way. Network timing or jitter has nothing to do with the digital audio data. The data load from audio data is low compared to what even a 2G wifi network can handle.1. Network Traffic Management:
- JPLAY iOS could optimize network packet timing and buffering
- It may reduce network jitter by implementing precise packet scheduling
- Could minimize network protocol overhead by streamlining data transmission
2. CPU Load Management:
- Efficient data handling could reduce processing requirements on the streamer
- Optimized buffering strategies might minimize CPU spikes
- Better memory management could reduce system interrupts

How?You are wrong …
Just trying to prevent people from getting cheated by scams.Anyway guys whatever you want
Ok…Just trying to prevent people from getting cheated by scams.
Isn’t WiiM already supported by dint of being a UPnP renderer? I thought the issue here was one of “certification”… so it seems like a legitimate request for Wiim to consider supporting it.
Does it cost WiiM anything to be a partner? Some history : JPlay was originally developed by an individual to be used with JRiver Media Center. The premise was that if you could decrease the electrical noise and the interrupts in a PC , that would increase the sound quality of the system. The optimization was done by stopping any unneeded processes and minimizing any activity that might cause electrical noise or interrupts. JRiver did not subscribe to that premise and did not like that the name that seemed to tread on JRiver's name. JRiver eventually blocked JPlay for working with its software. Then, the JPlay author set out to make his optimization tool into a full fledged player with an emphasis on its optimizations.
Now, do the JPlay optimizations make any difference? Some say yes, some say no. This is an old discussion and I doubt anything will be added here to resolve those differences of opinions. But, JPlay does have its following, so it seems like a legitimate request for Wiim to consider supporting it. JRiver decided not to. Wiim can make the same decision - or not.
OK. Changed.Isn’t WiiM already supported by dint of being a UPnP renderer? I thought the issue here was one of “certification”
Indeed, it is hard to tell what certified means apart from being listed on the JPlay website.Isn’t WiiM already supported by dint of being a UPnP renderer? I thought the issue here was one of “certification”
Thats exactly what I do not understand. With my Pro JPLAY is gapless and the app and my DAC show correct resolution. For the supported streaming AND for my stored music on hard disks. May be any specialist can explain me what "certification" in this case means. May be it is a misunderstanding with JPLAY as server software and the JPLAY app?Isn’t WiiM already supported by dint of being a UPnP renderer? I thought the issue here was one of “certification”
Probably a matter of testing.Indeed, it is hard to tell what certified means apart from being listed on the JPlay website.
Certification probably just means that the two applications have been test by the companies to be sure they work together and also probably an assurance that any future compatibility issues are addressed.Maybe we’ll see BubbleUPnP chasing certification too
Like others, I don’t see what certification would bring if WiiM already works with the app and any tuning to minimise network traffic and its supposed resultant benefit on the renderer is in the hands of the control app
