It would be very helpful to be able to import PEQ settings from a local file, in any of the common PEQ formats (such as Equalizer APO etc.)
Savings PEQ settings to local files, for backup purposes or transfer to another device, would also be very helpful.

Been asked for often and recently WiiM have asked for examples of such files which might suggest they're considering implementing something along those lines

Entering the numbers in the App is a really nasty path especially since the GUI is really slow and doesn't allow to in/decrement reasonably fast.
I would really fancy loading a file.

I agree with all of you. I also encourage anyone reading this and is interested in this feature to post your desire here. Let's let WIIM know just how interested we are.

Thanks. Are you sure that the term they use "calibration file" is the PEQ Import file?

Good idea, I find the peq settings very user unfriendly, look at poweramp eq app for a nice implementation. (wiim amp pro).

This would be a very good addition - I'd even say it is crucial given the complexities of PEQ initial configuration; but also for multi-config management, restore, and transfer between WiiM devices. Upvoted!

Hello,

Interested in being able to save the EQ parametric settings

I totally agree with this. It would give flexibility of using other apps such as Housecurve to do corrections and then import them in to Wiim home app

I have an additional aspect to this.
The latest firmware did move my PEQ settings (generated with UMIC-1 and REW) to the "Roomfit" section. This frees up the (P)EQ for "taste related" modification (which is nice), but I cannot see and modify my Room correction anymore.
-> Would be nice to make the "Roomfit" parameters visible and editable.

Workaround: the update did leave the PEQ settings and just disabled the EQ. So I can switch off "Roomfit" and turn on the EQ. This should give me my initially dialed in room correction.

You can still edit RoomFit filters:

You can now even "evaluate" (i.e. measure with a sweep) any manual change you make to the profile. The measurement will include both EQ and RoomFit (if both are enabled).

EDIT: Example above is from a WiiM Amp Ultra, but I suspect it should look the same in most WiiM devices once they're updated to the latest versions.

You can edit RoomFit filters by clicking on the adjacent icon when viewing the list of RoomFit profiles. As you found PEQ profiles entered manually from REW do not get moved to the RoomFit section.
