Have a bunch of WiiM Pros. Looking to centrally locate them and setup separate zones in the house. Anyone find a way to add networked wall controls to these things? Audio volume control and possibly even now playing controls? Looking for a rotary knob styled control.

There is a way to install an inexpensive smartphone or tablet on the wall. Charge them regularly using smart plugs. I don't have any other ideas for now.

You may be able to use the Bluetooth volume knob available on Amazon.
(However, you can only control one device or one zone.)

I got that, looking for a dedicated interface. Thanks

The wiims have an api that can be called over https. If you want to go fully custom. Make a webpage that controls them and open it full screen on a pi attached to the screen inside the wall?

Lutron makes a wireless audio control "Pico remote". See attached.
They are designed to be wall-mounted with your light switches. I have one in the kitchen.
It works with Sonos. You have playback controls, and volume, plus favourite presets in Sonos.
I wish this could work with WIIM.

This company make a nice light switch replacement, not WiiM specific but they have added integrations for the likes of Sonos and Bluesound so may well be interested in adding WiiM / Linkplay.

Looks Nice. I will look at it closer. But it seems like it is not available in North America.
I am hoping that since WIIM is getting into the custom install market like Sonos, they will offer some automation options, like the Lutron switches.
Or make a wall-mounted remote.

What is nice with the Lutron PICO remotes, is that you can simply add it to your existing wall switches by expanding the mounting plate. So it has a built in look. What is nice about the Lutron is the wireless network for the switches is very reliable. The WIIM integration would be through the cloud, the way Sonos does it.

Bluesound also added integration to the Lutron PICO remote in their press release below:

The Rithum wall switch can be powered with US mains as well as a 12V supply, just a case of getting it delivered but might not be approved for the US.
