Increase Input / Output Sensitivity / Gains?

I'm trying to use the Line In on a Pro Plus in an HT Bypass setup but the output from my AVR seems quite low and if I turn my endpoint amp up to full volume, my AVR is still having to compensate with approx +6 which probably means it's introducing distortion but also if I forget to change the volume and plug something else into it's likely to blow something.

The Line Out level on the WiiM is set to 2 Vrms which I guess is the loudest ? and volume limit to 100% and the volume slider for line in set to full.

If the AVR correction range is possible, there is no problem.
I think you can also reduce the volume of the power amplifier until you are on the verge of an AVR correction error. And set the volume limit on the AVR. In addition, there are models that can set the volume for each input and register it as a preset.
