Is there an http(s) API that acts like the power button on the remote?

There’s a shutdown command here but not one to power up which makes sense - how would a url respond if the unit was off?

I thought it's never off, only in standby.
I agree with this, the power button appears to be doing a transition in/out of stand-by (it is toggle function). so the advertised shutdown api does not seem to be the same operation. I did ask wiim support last night about what http api (if any) has the same effect as the power button on the remote.

I figure there must be a reason that power button is on the remote (it is on the new remote as well).

I might just try the shutdown command to see what happens...

Wiim support (which has been great from my experience), has told me that there will be an http api in a future release that will have the same effect as the power button on the remote. I have been pretty pleased with the http interface, it has been working flawlessly.

Are there any news?
Got my Ultra yesterday and as a Philips Pronto Pro User I adapt the api into the remote via Prontoscript.
Setting the shutdown timer to 0, stops only the playing music. Also reboot seems not working, because it returns wrong command.
At the moment, I'm using the Ultra with a triggered power outlet and so it will boot/powered off together with my PreAmp, but it would be nicer to have a power on/off in the remote.

No update on the power button api. I recently added controls for turning the display on/off and turning the status led on/off.
