LC3 Bluetooth codec on Amp Pro

In the manual of the WiiM Amp Pro the LC3 codec is mentioned as supported on Bluetooth. But does this cover both directions, send and receive?

Meanwhile, I pulled the trigger and ordered a Wiim Amp Pro. So I can confirm: The Amp Pro does not support LC3 when receiving audio over Bluetooth (at least not in combination with a Sennheiser BTD700). Pretty disappointing, that Wiim still does not offer a decent solution to stream via Bluetooth. SBC and AAC are not really usable nowadays.

Of course the standard codecs are perfectly usable - there are probably millions of Bluetooth listeners who are perfectly happy with the sound they actually hear in real life

I didn't see the LC3 codec mentioned at all in the WiiM Amp Pro manual. This is the only reference to codecs.

You are right, this seems only to be available in the Wiim Ultra, but not even in the Amp Ultra. My bad. So I‘ll stick with the Wiim Amp with an external Bluetooth receiver.

If I were to guess, it would be from the Ultra onwards i.e Ultra, Amp Pro, Amp Ultra i.e. the ones with the newer Wi-Fi 6, BT 5.3 modules, But I may be wrong...
