Yes - they are vile. I think that's the point! Remember, Wolfe also wrote Bonfire of the Vanities

Hostage - Netlix. Another incredibly stupid scenario dressed up as a drama. So 'politically correct" it ends up incorrect with just about every stereotype being overacted badly.
Why MSF gave its blessing to this tripe is a mystery to me.
