Think I’ll go watch the first series of Karen Pirie based on the Val McDermid books - got half a dozen of the books on my kindle that I haven’t started yet…
 
Hostage - Netlix. Another incredibly stupid scenario dressed up as a drama. So 'politically correct" it ends up incorrect with just about every stereotype being overacted badly.
Why MSF gave its blessing to this tripe is a mystery to me.

I don't suppose they were consulted. Do you think the Royal Family gave their blessing for The Crown? 😂
 
I read that there won't be a 2nd season because the story is over.... Sad, but it's true, the story has already been told.
Yeah, when I heard that I thought it was unusual, but iirc it was the star who supposedly suggested that. Maybe just hopeful of return fees ;)
