Agreed. Meant to be a reworking of a Japanese noir movie, but cinematography apart, it didn’t work for me either.

Lioness - itvx. CIA/ATF anti-terror squad. Better than the title might suggest. Nicole Kidman, Morgan Freeman have cameo roles.
Must admit I found that a bit misogynistic, exploitative and gratuitous in places. Not a pleasant watch for me…

True to some extent but nevertheless a cut above the current drivel on Netflix & Prime. And a big plus is there are actually some characters without beards. I can't distinguish when every actor in a film is bearded
