Unfortunately WiiM doesn't react on tickets from inside their app anymore, so I try it here:

As the thread title says, long album titles on Home Music Shares are not shown completely, which makes it really hard often to distinguish different album version. The album title is just cut off at the end of the line instead of continuing in another line.

You might say, this is a rare problem, but I have to say it is not. I have quite a large collection and often various releases of the same album. It is a problem I face basically every day.

The Foobar2000 app is a good example of how to make it better. I have added 2 screenshots of the view in the WiiM app compared to how it looks in Foobar2000.

I would really appreciate if WiiM concentrated on making the app how it is work flawlessly, instead of adding new features all the time.

How odd that it doesn't work on my iPhone. I have checked that it's not locked in portrait but still it doesn't work. It doe for virtually every other app.

Wiim app sucks tbh. I just use it to setup the device and that's it, for music playback control I use another.

yeah. Just talking of another music control app.

Do you have a tablet? Try that, with bigger screen, you'll have more space...so for classical albums (which are really long) should display
I don't think we should be forced to use tablets just because the app has issues. Other apps can handle long names. Why can't WiiM finally fix something that should never have been an issue?

There are different approaches for this: using multiple lines, scrolling. They just don't care about it.

I coughed up and bought the mconnect app for my iPhone. It works and is very easy to set up. No entering folder names etc. it just found everything.

However it’s quite rudimentary. The navigation is frustrating. And I have absolutely no idea how you do something as basic as choose a song from a different album to play next. Maybe you can’t.

So frustrating that the Wiim app falls short. Come on Wiim! Get your app sorted! This is really basic stuff.

UPNP sucks, it depends on decent your music scanner arranges the music.

I can do that easily on mine easy peasy:)

UPNP may suck, but that has nothing to do with titles being cut off if they exceed a certain length. That's just sloppy programming.
Hi MrSoul4470, Team

Thank you for your feedback—it’s been well received. I can confirm that our team is actively working on a fix and expects to release it within the next two weeks.

We appreciate your support and patience—please stay tuned!

That's great news. I'm sorry I have to blame WiiM for this issue over and over again. I really like both my WiiM Pro and Mini, but this issue has been ignored for too long. I really hope there will be a solution soon.
