Max Volume too low?

Why wouldn't you be able to adjust the volume of the optical input of the Amp Pro? Just use the Amp Pro volume control.
Unknown… neither the tv remote, fire stick remote (which is how we normally use to adjust volume level), or the WiiM remote changes the volume levels…

Any suggestions? I was using the WiiM supplied optical cable…?

How about the volume knob on the Amp or the WiiM Home app?

Right.. yeah, as I recall, none worked…

O pity me, not really, but holie crap, I’m hurting today…
Besides, my plus 1 is hogging utube right now, so …???

UPDATE:

Omg! I’m such an idiot, lol!

Years ago, I just assumed the blu-ray “needed the best port”, ie the first port.
Once I pulled that cable, I see the hdmi/arc…. WTH, YAY!!!

So… I’m thinking the first port will now be considered as an hdmi “out” going to the hdmi “in” on the Wiim.

Then I just reconfigure the other hdmi ports in the input menu of the tv.
Blu-ray, plex pc, firestick tones port locations!

Bada, bing!

And… I guess I didn’t make this as clear as needed, but
My main objection was that when watching firestick, I had to use both remotes, one for content, an the Wiim remote for volume.

The way the system was configured, the headphone jack allowed single remote usage. I’ve now reconfigured, hopefully, correctly, this time!
